Course Information

Day of the Sacred

SEASON OPENING - Sunday, June 13 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

There is no charge for this event, however, donations are welcome.

This is our Opening Day for the 2010 Summer Season at Shining Bay. We welcome you all to join us to celebrate another year of transformation, new and old friendships, deepening knowledge of the Path, and a closer connection with the Divine Presence.

We will perform a Sacred Fire Ceremony in the field in honour of Divine Mother to bless the land and ocean, the Retreat building and all present. We will also honour Swami Kripalvanand as the presiding Master at our Center and all the saints and sages who continue to bless the earth.

Chanting, dancing and meditation will close the event with a Vegetarian Feast following.

Those who wish to come a half hour early can take part in creating a beautiful rangoli at the entrances to welcome Lakshmi (Goddess of love, plenty and bliss) into the space in the traditional way.
